 SHUMUMU ZZT

Written for Oktrollberfest 2021

A nice, tidy little adventure game where the only objective is to retrieve the loot hidden in the dungeons of Castle Shumumu (pronounced shoe-moo-moo). 

Be careful, brave adventurer, and remember to save often - nothing is as it seems here! Be wary of your surroundings, as they might help you survive this treacherous castle.

For reasonably experienced ZZT players, you are warned that there are A LOT OF STARS TO DEAL WITH.

How to play

To get started, select (Keyboard) and (C)olor after starting the game and then press P to play. Move using the arrow keys. Once in the game, you can pause by pressing P and unpause by moving. The in-game sidebar will give you more instructions on moving, shooting and saving.

The game was written assuming the player has some familiarity with ZZT and some of its quirks.
